Self Service Wash Instructions - They’re Easy
MINIMUM CREDIT CARD CHARGE IS $3 TO START SELF SERVICE CAR WASH BAYS. USING THE MAG AWAY/BUG REMOVER - Select OPTION 1 (low pressure): Apply Mag Away/Bug Remover to the entire vehicle using the low pressure gun. Mag Remover is excellent for car detailing, particularly when your vehicle has accumulated magnesium chloride and salt/sand during the winter months or bug accumulation during the summer months. Use Mag Away/Bug Remover followed by Presoak (Option 3) and High Pressure Wash (Option 4) cycles for effective car wash services. USING TIRE-ENGINE CLEANER - Select OPTION 2 (low pressure): For best results, use the tire-engine cleaner first while the tires or engine is dry. This allows the chemical to work effectively without dilution by water. After application, let the chemical stand while washing the rest of the car. The longer it soaks, the better it works. USING PRESOAK - Select OPTION 3 (low pressure): Presoak will aid in cleaning your car if you prefer not to brush it or if it’s particularly dirty. Spray it on from bottom to top for maximum effect, allowing the dirtier areas to soak longer. USING HIGH PRESSURE WASH (SOAP) - Select OPTION 4 (high pressure): Wash the car back and forth in sections to ensure thorough cleaning. Hold the spray a few inches from tires to clean whitewalls and lettering. USING FOAM BRUSH - Select OPTION 5: Always wash dirt off the car and brush (using the high pressure wand) before use to avoid scratching your vehicle’s paint. The foam brush is designed not to scratch your car, but dirt will. Scrub lightly from top to bottom, finishing with the very bottom to avoid picking up dirt or mud from fender wells that could damage the paint. USING HIGH PRESSURE RINSE - Select OPTION 6 (high pressure): Select RINSE, then rinse off the soap from top to bottom. USING CLEAR COAT CONDITIONER - Select OPTION 7 (low pressure): Apply tri-color Clear Coat Conditioner to the entire vehicle using the low pressure gun. The Clear Coat Conditioner will help maintain your vehicle's appearance between washes, an essential aspect of car detailing. USING WAX - Select OPTION 8 (high pressure): Apply from top to bottom. You can leave excess wax on if you towel-dry the car, but it should be rinsed off with Spot-Free Rinse (Option 9) to avoid heavy spotting. USING SPOT-FREE RINSE - Select OPTION 9 (low pressure): Select SPOT-FREE RINSE, allow 10 seconds for the line to clear, then rinse from top to bottom, pushing water across the hood and roof. You can switch directly from WAX to SPOT-FREE, but always rinse off soap prior to using the spot-free rinse. Spot-free water is not a treatment or coating; it's very clean water that doesn’t leave spots behind, making it the final step in your wash process. USING AIR DRY - Select OPTION 10: Dry your vehicle from top to bottom for a drip-free finish. Clover’s Car Wash’s state-of-the-art equipment and technology is designed to effectively wash your car, leaving it looking great wash after wash. Keep in mind that several factors affect how well your vehicle is cleaned, including the condition of your car’s paint, cleaning frequency, how dirty your car is when you arrive at the self-service car wash, and which car wash options you select.
